Every patient I have the privilege of working with requires a unique approach tailored to their specific situation. I believe each treatment should carefully match the pieces of the patient's own experience. I try to discover and understand as much about their condition as I possibly can in order to deliver the highest possible recovery rate and aesthetically pleasing outcome.

Why did you decide to focus on breast disease?

Originally, I wanted to focus on missionary medicine; however, before I went abroad, my residency mentor suggested that I pursue a fellowship in breast health first. The fellowship introduced an entirely different path that has become my passion and mission: breast health.

What are your goals for Breast Specialists of South Florida?

I want to streamline and tailor therapy that transforms terrifying diagnoses into hope and positive outcomes. I look forward to the day our work significantly reduces the number of women negatively impacted by breast cancer.It is imperative women understand breast cancer is very treatable. The mean age for breast cancer is between 61 and 62. In this new age, however, 70 is the new 50! Women are living a long time after diagnosis and treatment, which is why it is so important to continue routine breast exams, mammograms, and genetic testing for women with a family history.I am fortunate to be here with Breast Specialists of South Florida at this very moment: together, there is so much we can achieve.
